In today's update, we're rolling out a suite of enhancements designed to refine the UI/UX of Telebugs, alongside numerous bug fixes. Telebugs now remembers your most recent date range selection on a per-user, per-project basis. We've also shifted the default date range filter from "Today" to "Last 28 days" based on popular user feedback, making it easier to catch up on recent activity without manual adjustments.

New default: Last 28 days

Previously, Telebugs defaulted to "Today" for all data views, which wasn't ideal for everyone. Picture logging off on Friday and returning Monday—you'd want a quick overview of weekend activity without tweaking filters. A broader default makes sense for most workflows, so we've updated it to "Last 28 days" across the app.

Remembering last selected date range

While strong defaults are key, certain errors or projects might call for custom filters. Telebugs now saves your last chosen date range per user and per project, automatically applying it as the default on your next visit.

Consistent popovers

Telebugs now features uniform popovers wherever dates appear. These include absolute timestamps and UTC equivalents for precise context.

Monospace font

Developers live in terminals and editors surrounded by monospace fonts. As a developer-centric tool, Telebugs now offers a "Monospace" option in Appearance settings, applying fixed-width typography throughout the UI for a familiar feel.

Table look for project errors

Project errors previously used a hybrid card/table design that worked but struggled as we added more details. We've revamped it into a clean table format for effortless scanning and better scalability. It's more compact, and we've introduced cursor-based pagination for consistently fast loading.

Mobile browsing has been optimized too, ensuring a seamless experience on smaller screens.

Redesigned All Reports table

The All Errors and All Reports views had redundant elements. Since All Reports emphasizes individual error instances over aggregates, we've streamlined it into a condensed table with essential info only—ideal for reviewing recent errors at a glance.

Contrasted toast colors and better mobile support

Toast notifications on mobile now animate up from the bottom for a more natural feel. We've also boosted contrast in their colors for better visibility in various lighting conditions.
