Self-hosted software license agreement

This agreement applies only to Self-hosted Telebugs. Use of Managed Telebugs is governed by the Managed Terms of Service.

Your perpetual license

Kyrylo Silin PE grants you, as the purchaser or authorized recipient of a Self-hosted license, a perpetual license to install and use Telebugs, its source code and associated documentation files (the “Software”) as a single production instance on one licensed domain. You may modify the source code of any release provided to you under your purchase or updates coverage, subject to this agreement.

Your license does not expire when updates and support coverage ends. You may keep using and modifying the versions you have already received. There is no annual fee required to keep using those versions.

A temporary same-domain copy is permitted solely for an isolated restore drill, server migration, or rollback, provided that only one instance serves production traffic and the temporary copy is not used as an additional production instance.

This license does not allow you to publish, distribute, sublicense, or sell copies of the Software or its source code, or products derived from the Software.

Updates, support, and renewal

The current Self-hosted offer costs $299 USD upfront: $200 for the perpetual license and $99 for the first 12 months of new releases and email support, starting on the purchase date.

Updates and email support then automatically renew for another 12 months at $99 USD per year unless you cancel before the next billing date. Renewal is optional: it extends your updates and support coverage, not the term of your perpetual license.

You can cancel at any time using the subscription management link in your Paddle receipt, or email [email protected] for help. Cancellation stops future renewal charges. New releases and email support remain included until the end of the coverage period you have paid for. After that period, you stop receiving new releases and email support, but the versions you have already received keep working under this license.

Self-hosted Telebugs runs on infrastructure you operate. You remain responsible for your server, backups, security, and applying updates.

Earlier purchases

Earlier purchases keep the license, update, and support entitlements included with their original offer. The renewal terms above apply to purchases under the current offer and do not automatically enroll earlier purchases in a subscription.

Refunds

A self-hosted purchase includes downloadable software and source code. Once the Software or its private download link has been delivered, the purchase is not refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Cancelling renewal does not automatically refund a payment already made. Paddle handles payments and refund requests under its refund policy and applicable law. Nothing in this agreement limits refund rights you have under applicable law.

Warranty and liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

You represent and warrant that you will comply with applicable law when downloading or using the Software.
