Introducing Telebugs Managed
I’ve launched Telebugs Managed. You get your own private Telebugs instance for $99/month, and I take care of running it.
The server, updates, backups, security, email delivery, and uptime are my job. You connect your applications and get on with fixing errors.
You can try it free for 14 days.
One less server to look after
I built Telebugs to make error tracking simpler. One application, a small server, and a clear place to see what broke. I like software that you can understand and run yourself.
But installing software is only the beginning. Someone still has to keep it updated, check the backups, watch disk space, and make sure notifications reach the team. Even a small, straightforward server is another thing on your list.
If you’re shipping a product with a small team, that time matters. You might like Telebugs and simply want someone else to handle the upkeep. Managed gives you that option.
Your own private instance
Every Managed customer gets a private Telebugs instance. Choose Europe, the United States, or Singapore, and I’ll set up and maintain the server within that region. Each instance starts with 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, and at least 40 GB of storage.
You get the same error tracker as Self-hosted: error grouping, debugging context, source maps, notifications, and the tools to work through errors with your team. You can see it in the live demo.
I handle email support directly, with replies on business days. When you have a question, you’re talking to the person building Telebugs.
Pricing you can plan around
Managed costs $99 USD per month. Taxes may apply. There are no charges per error, project, or teammate. Adding another application or inviting someone to help debug it doesn’t add another line to your bill.
Capacity still matters. The server and your retention settings determine how much it can handle. I monitor the instance and will contact you if it needs more resources. Your price won’t change without your approval.
That’s the arrangement I want: a price you can budget for, and a conversation if your needs grow.
Keep your Sentry SDKs
If your applications already use Sentry SDKs for error reporting, you can keep them. Point their DSN at your new Telebugs instance and send a test error to check the connection.
For the details, see the migration guide and supported platforms.
Self-hosting is still here
Self-hosted remains available if you want to run Telebugs on your own hardware, have direct server access, or change the source code. Managed includes use of the hosted application; source code and direct server access belong to the Self-hosted option.
Your error data is yours either way. If you start with Managed and later want to run your own server, I’ll help you export your data or move it to a Self-hosted installation. You can also move in the other direction.
Try it with your app
Pick a subdomain and hosting region, then complete checkout. I’ll set up your private instance and email you when it’s ready.
The trial lasts 14 days and requires a card because it comes with a private server. You won’t be charged during the trial. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing; otherwise, your subscription starts automatically at $99/month. You can cancel anytime to stop future renewals.
Start your 14-day trial, or read the full plan details. If you’d like to talk it through first, email me at [email protected].
I’m looking forward to running Telebugs for you.
