3 How the sausage is made ¶

Telebugs is built with proven and boring technologies. It’s important to understand how the sausage is made because when you purchase Telebugs, you also get its full source code that you will own for life. You can even modify the source code however you want (as long as you don’t share it, because Telebugs is not open source (See Software License Agreement)).

Telebugs is built with the following technologies:

• Ruby on Rails: A Ruby web framework with decades of reputation. Simple and boring. We don’t need a revolution here.
• Turbo: An umbrella term for a set of technologies that power all modern Rails apps by default. Telebugs doesn’t use JavaScript frameworks thanks to this (and the next item). It’s a simple and proven technology that is easy to use and maintain.
• Stimulus: Think of it as jQuery for 2025, but simpler (because JavaScript has become much better).
• Solid Queue: Processes background jobs like sending error notifications. This secret sauce lets Telebugs stay Redis-free, which means fewer dependencies to manage.
• SQLite: Undoubtedly, the MVP of this stack. A fantastic library that needs no introduction and minimal administration.

That’s all! Error processing can be that simple!

So is it just for Rails devs? No! You don’t have to modify the code or even touch it at all. You can read it, of course. It’s all pure Ruby, probably the most programmer-friendly syntax to read. It almost reads like English.

And if you’re not familiar with it, just pair up with an LLM of your choice and vibe code your way. That said, I don’t expect you to do that because Telebugs aims to ship all the necessities.

Telebugs isn’t trying to change the world. It’s trying to leave you alone — and that’s the point.
